Businesses and freelancers need to issue several kinds of financial documents throughout a sale — from quoting a price for a customer to consider, to billing the amount due, to issuing a receipt confirming payment. Each type differs in small but important ways, such as a quotation needing a validity period. This tool uses a single template to generate all three: just fill in the seller/buyer details and the line items, and it automatically calculates the subtotal, tax, and total with a live preview the whole time. When you're done, print or save it as a PDF instantly from your browser — no extra accounting software required. None of your customer data or financial figures ever leave your device.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What's the difference between a quotation, an invoice, and a receipt?
A quotation is issued before a sale is agreed, proposing a price for the customer to consider, with a validity period. An invoice is issued after agreement, billing the amount due. A receipt confirms that payment has been received. This tool uses the same template for all three — just use the document-type switch at the top of the form to match your actual use case.
What extra field does a quotation have compared to an invoice or receipt?
When you select "Quotation" as the document type, a "Valid until" field appears specifically for it, telling the customer how long the quoted price holds. Invoices and receipts don't have this field since they're tied to an amount that's already due or paid.
How do I download it as a PDF?
Click "Print / Save as PDF" — your browser's print dialog will open. Choose "Save as PDF" as the destination instead of printing to paper. This uses your browser's built-in feature, no extra software needed.
Is the information I enter sent to a server?
No data ever leaves your device. Generating quotations, invoices, and receipts all happens entirely in your browser, making it suitable for sensitive customer data.
